Retrospect is, above all, the story of two best friends. After building incredible memories across the globe, an idea took hold: create t-shirts capable of freezing those moments in time to make them timeless.

The spark: Reinventing the souvenir t-shirt

During our travels and mountain getaways, we came to a simple realization: it was impossible to find a sleek, stylish t-shirt that truly captured the spirit of a place. All we could find were cheesy, tourist-trap t-shirts like "I Love NY."

So, we decided to tap into our own inspiration to convey the emotion of our adventures through carefully crafted designs:

  • The Ange T-shirt: A direct tribute to our shared passion for skiing and the mountains.
  • The Bali T-shirt: Inspired by the magic of our trip to Indonesia.
  • The Blue T-shirt: More classic in inspiration, it highlights the very essence of our brand.

In a fast-paced world where everything feels disposable, we felt a deep-seated need to slow down. Retrospect was born from this desire to capture the true essence of the moments behind us.

As we often remind ourselves at the end of a ski day or a trip:

"Don't be sad that a great memory is behind you, be glad it happened... and make sure to create the next ones!"
